Ann, or Enn, people settled in the Eastern Shan State. There are ten Ann villages at Kyaington, four villages at Maipkyat, thirteen villages at Maikhat, and one village at Maiyaung. The population is under ten thousand. Ann Nationals are known for their black teeth, which pique the curiosity of tourists.
Ann people worship the Nat (spirit), and a few are Buddhist or Christian. They do not have their own literature. Only a few educated people can read Gone Shan and Wa literature. Ann communities follow what Natsuga says.
