A professional group in Western Development Region of Nepal gathered and reflected their contemplated ideas of service to the Nation and people through social work and related activities, which paved way to the establishment of NAMUNA Integrated Development Council (NAMUNA) in October 2002. NAMUNA is a non – religious, non – profit making and non – governmental social development organisation, established to conduct social and health related activities and developmental work in urban and rural areas of Nepal.
NAMUNA firmly advocates for increasing access of the excluded communities to the resources, knowledge and technologies that are necessary to meet their self-identified health, human, peace, economic and social needs respectively.
