Onjon ni Ivadoy Association Incorporated is an organization of the Ibaloy indigenous peoples of Baguio City and Benguet province.
After series of informal and formal meetings of the ibaloy leaders and interested parties in and around Baguio City, Onjon ni Ivadoy Association was organized in 2009 and registered as a non-stock non-profit organization with the Securities and Exchange Commission on January. 14, 2011.The incorporators include Ibaloy men and women who distinguished themselves their vocation as farmers, teachers, government officers, business people, professionals, private individuals and the youth. As a legitimate association the Onjon Ni Ivadoy has updated organizational and financial reports with the SEC and BIR.
As a result of our continuous and persistent struggle as native of Baguio city the Baguio City Council adopted Resolution no. 395 declaring February 23 of every year as Ibaloy day which was institutionalize by virtue of an Ordinance no. 09 series of 2013.
In addition, as per Resolution no. 182 the Baguio City Council designated a portion of Burnham park as an ibaloy heritage garden. This is use as the venue for all the activities of the association.
At present, the organization has membership of more than 10,000 from Baguio City, Province of Benguet and nearby Provinces in the Cordillera Region and the Ibaloys who are presently working abroad.
